Spring in Uijeongbu

Spring has finally come. And it is exhausting. Grace has me running after her outside every day. Sometimes several times a day. When we're inside, she will bang on the screen and whine and whine until I take her out. I am going to be spending a lot of time outdoors this spring and summer.

The area near Uijeongbu Station is quite nice for strolling and shopping. There are a lot of good shops around and they have fixed the area up nicely with ponds, trees, splashing pools, and sculptures. We had a nice afternoon there last Sunday.
The area around our complex is suitable for every day messing about. Grace likes the playground equipment and has dragged me up and down the jungle gym several times. She also likes to look at the flowers and birds. She's still really into the sign language and does the signs whenever she sees something.

The good thing about all this activity is that I think it is good for her sleep. For the past several nights she has grabbed her teddy bear and asked to go to sleep. I have to admit, I relish the peace after she is finally sleeping, even if I am working away on ESL books.

We have an hour scheduled in daily in the morning (and the afternoons when Dexter is not at daycare) for walking at the park! He just gets so moody if we don't take him out. It's good to get out when it's nice, though.

Now it's getting not so nice for the walks......too hot I mean. I'm dreading the reeeeally hot days when there's no way I'm taking her out.
